The property is located in the outskirts of the main village of Arima and is about 25 minutes on foot up a hill. Travellers with mobility issues may find this property difficult to access unless prior transport is arranged with hotel reception staff. We stayed overnight in a standard Japanese-style room. The room, well-appointed on the top 6th floor, is very spacious and has amazing views of the mountains...

"This is a typical downtown hotel with a slightly larger-then-typical room and a so-so buffet. It is literally next door to the entrance to Kobe’s Chinatown and within walking distance of Sorakuen, Kobe’s lovely public park, and the waterfront sculpture park. It is also close to the Sannomiya railway station, Kobe’s transportation hub, which can be reached through a covered shopping arcade."

"I had a really good time, this hotel is very near from sannomiya station, sannomiya shopping street and the view from the hotel is also great. Staff is really helpful and polite. Of course the room is smaller but that’s I think the case everywhere in Japan. Overall it was a really great experience. "
